Typing week7: My favorite book

My favorite book is Yae no Sakura. It was broadcasted as NHK long drama a few years ago. This is historical story. It is set in Fukushima. When this drama was broadcasted, after Tohoku great earthquake. I prefer book rather than drama. Of course I like drama too, because cast was very beautiful and handsome. However, novel describe feeling of character more detailed. Main character is Yae who is as tough as a man. She learned how to use gun from her brother and she fought as a man in the war. After she lost, she learned English and something from other countries. It is not normal, because at that time, women stayed home. Every women didn't use gun except her. The most important reason I like this book is I can learn Japanese history. When I was a high school student, I learned world history. Actually I prefer Japanese history to it. So, I like this book, and I want to read other historical novel.

BR1-15: Stories of Marmaids (Punter,2005)

There are many story of mermaids and the most famous book is little mermaid. Little mermaid is sad story but this story is happy end. Caral loved living under the sea but she longed to join human. And her dream came true and she enjoyed living ground. However.. This story is exciting and happy. If you want to read cheerful sroty, I recommend " Story of Mermaids".

This book is very interesting because many character appear and touched so I recommened.

BR1-13: Gulliver Travel (Sims, 2007)

"A place called Lilliput," said Gulliver. (Lesley, 2007, p.62)

Gulliver is famous man because he experienced amazing things. He travel by vessel but he became castaway. And then he could alive but he arrive a county, the land of dwarfs. He was surprised by them but those who live the country was surprised by him too. If you read this book, I'm sure that you can experienced exciting things like Gulliver.

BR1-12: Pinocchio (Daynes, 2007)

" You're a real boy at least." (Katie, 2007, p.63)

I think you know this story. It is so fantastic and famous story. Pinocchio was a boy who was made by Gepetto. He decided that he will make the best puppet in the world. He called it Pinocchio. When Gepetto made it, Pinocchio's nose began to grow. Moreover he chopped it off, his nose grew again. He finished to make it and it can move, run and talk. If you wanna what happen for him, I recommend to read this book. This is happy end so I like this story.

This story is so interesting because a man change on Christmas. This story’s main character is Scrooge who is very cool but love money. One day a ghost appeared him. This ghost and Scrooge had known each other and a ghost said “There chains are punishment. There are some waiting for you, too, and getting heavier every day. And then other ghosts appeared and Scrooge was looked his past day, today and future. When he look it, he decided to change. When I read this book, I learned the important things so I recommended it.

This story is very famous romance story. A king and queen have a daughter, Rose. A lot of people assembled and celebrated at her birthday party. However a king and queen forgot Nightshade. She were so angry and she leaned into the cradle and snarled this word. “On your sixteenth birthday, you will pick your finger on spinning wheel and…DIE!” If you want to know what happen when she became sixteen years old, I recommended to read this book.

This book is easy to read. Based on the story by E. Nesbit. She wrote her books a hundred ysars ago. This story the most famous book. The RAILWAY CHILDREN is about children whose father arrested and want to meet him. They have to leave London with their mother. Children wave at the London train everyday because... If you want read happy story, I recommended it.

BR 1-06: HAMLET( Lesley, 2009)

HAMLET was very sad because his father, king, was killed someone and his mother marriaged his uncle. One day, HAMLET saw his father's ghost. He told his son a person who killed. That's way HAMLET decided to kill a man who killed his father. This story makes us so sad and excited. Based on the play is Willam Shakespeare.

This book was witten about one of celestial beuty. Her name is Cleopatra. She was a Queen of Egypt. However her life had been a turbulent life. Caesar, her husband, was mudered. Moreover Antony killed himself and Cleopatra.....

I'm sure that if you read this book, you can understand a famous Queen.

BR 1-04: Anne Frank (Susanna, 2006)

A person who's happy will make others happy; a person who has courage and faith will never die in misely.(Anne Frank's, 2004, p.62)

Anne Frank is famous girl. She went hiding with her family to escape from the Nazis. She felt terror and sorrows.  Firstly, she aparted from her parents. Anne lived with her sister, Margot. However Margot was sick and Anne didn't apart her so she got her sister's ill. At least Anne, Margot and their mother died. During Anne stayed death camp, she had written diary. Her father who could survived want everyone to know Anne's diary. This book says Anne's life and her feeling.

BR 1-01: Marie Antoinette

This story is about Marie Antoinette who is familiar to everyone. When she was born in Austria as the youngest child. That's way she was a spoiled child. And the when she was still child, her mother sent her to marry France's future king. Marie Antoinette's life as a queen gradually worsened with gossip running life. This book is very easy and interesting. If you want to read it, I recommended!
